Driving Instructor & Director of Enable Driving Instructors Ltd.

I qualified as an Instructor over 20 years ago and I endeavour to personalise my tuition to the needs of the individual.
I have a background in Mental Health, having worked in that speciality for 16 years as a Registered Nurse.  I also have trained as a teacher before returning to Driving Tuition.
It is my intention to provide an holistic approach to meeting the needs of those that I am fortunate enough to assist in their journey towards the open road.  I utilise all of my background professional experience to direct your learning, in a fashion that promotes independence and cognitive awareness.
I hope to join you on your journey to obtaining your Full Driving Licence.

I have a varied knowledge in teaching skills of all genres . Having gained several skill’s during my 30 year’s military service both in and out of uniform.

Since moving back to the UK in 2019 I have put these skills to the test in driving instruction.

Like Paul, I use a holistic approach to calming in order to gain confidence and achieve your goal, while uplifting your independence.

I like to teach real life scenarios and incorporate into the lessons such things as Drive Through lessons, music Lessons, as well as experiencing  lessons with passengers,  as this can give pupils a taste of real life driving and what will happen when you become that safe independent driver .

 Office Coordinator

With over ten years driving experience and a background working in health and social care settings, largely focusing on Mental health.  I have a keen interest in holistic approaches and delving into individual requirements and experiences in order to provide an all-round approach ensuring a positive learning experience for all. With a focus of providing a calm teaching environment and support out with lesson times. 

I am based in the office and can be on hand to discuss any enquiries, as well as any concerns, worries or anxieties that may arise, providing support throughout the learning experience.

 I look forward to supporting you through your learning journey with one of our experienced instructors, whilst on your way to becoming a safe  and confident driver.

Stephen is the latest member to join the Enable Team. With decades of driving experience, a keen interest in cars and motor sports, along with a background working in the motor trade for many years, Stephen is a very welcome addition to the Enable Team.
